Objective


As a leader in advanced wound care, Smith+Nephew needed a smarter, more engaging way to showcase its Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) product to healthcare professionals. Traditional sales presentations weren’t cutting it and static slides and brochures lacked the interactivity needed to bring the product’s benefits to life.


We needed to design and develop a fully interactive iPad application that not only demonstrated the NPWT product’s capabilities but also enhanced sales team engagement and efficiency.

How we did it


To create an experience that felt as innovative as the product itself, we reimagined how information was delivered, making complex features intuitive and interactive.


Starting with workshops and digital prototyping, we built a seamless user experience that guided healthcare professionals through key benefits, clinical data, and real-world applications. Every aspect of the app was designed with clarity and engagement in mind, ensuring that sales teams could confidently communicate not only what the product does, but why it matters.


Using the Twixl publication platform, we combined rich multimedia content, touch-responsive features, and interactive elements to create a more dynamic and personalised sales tool. To maximise impact, we also integrated custom-built CRM tools, allowing sales teams to tailor presentations and capture insights in real time.


Now available in seven languages, the iPad application has transformed how Smith+Nephew’s teams engage with healthcare professionals and turned passive presentations into meaningful and interactive conversations.
