Columbia Threadneedle Investments had a strong brand message and a history of impactful print and event advertising, but when it came to digital, these approaches weren’t always translating effectively. We re-engineered Columbia Threadneedle’s digital advertising strategy to be fit for platform and purpose by honing in on the messages that mattered and delivering them in a way that captured attention fast.

 

First, we streamlined each fund’s messaging into three core takeaways, ensuring audiences got the most important insights, instantly. Next, we developed high-impact visual templates, where sharp headlines, in-brand imagery, and clean-cut animation worked together to drive engagement and retention.

 

This digital-first framework was designed to be effective and scalable. The template could be adapted for multiple campaigns, allowing Columbia Threadneedle to maintain consistency and flexibility across their entire investment portfolio.

 

By shifting to a more dynamic and structured approach, Columbia Threadneedle’s digital advertising became clearer, more compelling, and ready to cut through in a competitive market.
