ETF Stream is the leading media platform for all things Exchange Traded Funds. But their existing WordPress site wasn’t cutting it – it lacked the sophistication needed to support commercial growth, drive engagement, and provide a seamless user experience.


The challenge was to build a scalable publishing platform that would not only improve content delivery and user experience but also open new revenue opportunities through advertising, gated content, and event management.

How we did it


To build a content-first platform, we needed a content-first approach. The website was designed and developed on Umbraco CMS, giving ETF Stream the flexibility to manage a growing library of articles, reports, and event listings. The new publishing system ensures a seamless reader journey, automatically interlinking relevant companies, people, and products within articles to keep users engaged and encourage deeper exploration.


We also built a fully integrated event management system, allowing the ETF Stream team to promote, manage, and streamline registrations for their well-attended events. Lead generation tools were introduced, including gated reports and content capture mechanisms, helping to drive sign-ups and collect high-value audience data.


Beyond content and engagement, we developed an integrated advertising platform, creating new commercial opportunities for ETF Stream. The entire system was backed by detailed analytics, giving their team valuable insights into audience behaviour and content performance while empowering them to refine and optimise their strategy continuously.

 

With a more sophisticated, scalable, and user-focused platform, ETF Stream now has the digital foundation to support its growth, enhance engagement, and strengthen its position as the go-to industry media brand.
